About Me
Worimi (Hello in Dharug language),I'm Elisha, pleasure to meet you! I live and work on Wangal, Bediagal and Dharug Country.I am a qualified Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work (2014), Bachelor of Arts (2014) and Diploma in Community Services (2007).My practice is trauma informed, culturally sensitive, strength based, anti-oppressive, neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+SB affirming.I draw on Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Somatic Therapy as some of the main ways I support people.I value inclusivity and paying respect to any identity and community people are a part of.If you'd like to work with me feel free to contact me on the details below.

Work Experience
I started my own private practice in January 2024 when I became approved as a NSW Victim Services Counsellor. I run my practice two days per week.I am also currently working for CatholicCare Sydney as a Counsellor for the Carer Gateway Team.From 2023-2026 I did contracting work for Budding Resilience Therapies which mainly connected with NDIS and local agencies.I worked at yourtown as a Kids Helpline Counsellor and Parent Line Counsellor from 2020-2025.Prior to this I worked at KARI and Catholic Care Diocese of Broken Bay. My career has been focused on child and family support, counselling in mental health and trauma.
